9-11 Memorial Car Wash Fundraiser 6-18-11

The IHBVFD and the Women’s Auxiliary hosted a car wash on Saturday June 18th to raise funds for the completion of the 9-11 Memorial. The response by the community is greatly appreciated by the firefighters and Women’s Auxiliary. This is the second car wash fund raiser we have held to raise funds for the memorials and while the first was great this one surpassed that! We thank everyone who came out to support the worthy cause to Honor the Memory of all the First Responders who perished in the attacks on The Twin Towers. Your support and generosity is helping us to archive our goal to complete the Memorial Tribute in time for the 10 Anniversary of 9-11. We were honored to have two retired FDNY Firefighters who lost brother’s and countless friends in the collapse of the Twin Towers spend time with us on Saturday. We also would like to thank the Firefighters from Satellite Beach Fire Rescue who came out to encourage people to sign the commitment to not Text and Drive for the Remember Alex Brown Foundation.  Below are some pictures from the days event.
